About

Hello all soccer fans!

My name is Sean Gandy and I am a Robbie Rogers fan. I'm 25 years old and live in Dallas, Texas, US. Being an avid soccer fan, I've watched hundreds of important live soccer matches across the US and Europe and written about the sport for some years now. So, I finally decided to come up with my own personal blog where we can all share our experiences and views about this beautiful game. But wait a second, let's talk a little about it.

Soccer. Six letters that stand for agility, stardom, prowess, accuracy, discipline and sportsmanship. Of all other physical sports, soccer stands out for being easy enough to play, but complex enough to keep you on the edge of your seat. The moves you see the likes of Robbie Rogers pull on the pitch--the dribbling, crossing, and striking--take years of practice to perfect and master.

Speaking of Robbie, you'll notice that most of the pages of this blog are dedicated to him. And that's because I believe he's the semblance of the principles soccer spells in the United States. The skill he exudes on the pitch coupled with the confidence to stand up for what he believes in, is nothing short of inspiring.

Growing up, I really loved this game. So much that I repeatedly tried out for my school's soccer team, despite missing out every season. I purchased my first soccer cleats from FinishLine.com. This is a retail online store where you can find all kinds of athletic shoes and apparel at great a great discount. My friend Julie has put a site up where she lists all Finish Line coupons. She posts athletic shoe reviews in her blog. My coach always told me that it was because I'm left footed. Though I'm no longer active on the pitch, I still harbor the same enthusiasm for the game I had when my dad brought home an Adidas soccer ball 15 years ago. Since then, soccer boots have been part of my wardrobe.

To all my fellow soccer fans out there, feel free to bookmark and share this page with your fellow teammates and buddies, and yes, you can always join the conversation in the comment sections. Also, let me know of any suggestions or improvements you feel this site can use.

Thanks and welcome.
